I've increasingly been viewing life as if I'm a Pokemon lol
I first really got wind of this idea from Ray Dalio's Principles.
I have found it helpful to think of my life as if it were a game in which each problem I face is a puzzle I need to solve. By solving the puzzle, I get a gem in the form of a principle that helps me avoid the same sort of problem in the future. Collecting these gems continually improves my decision making, so I am able to ascend to higher and higher levels of play in which the game gets harder and the stakes become ever greater.
At first I thought this was really dumb and was like, "Ya right, Ray." It didn't help that I didn't really like the book Principles (the principles themselves are awesome, the book is just not my favourite).
But now I can see how I am constantly leveling up and there is kind of no end insight. I can keep trying new things and use the following framework to ascend to a higher and more advanced "Cam-er-on". I can't wait to see what's next!

- Ray's Instagram and Facebook profiles are awesome for the Principle of The Day. I highly recommend.
